Fits perfectly with Ford 3G alternator, works like a charm

So I have this 1998 Lincoln Navigator with 5.4 Triton V8 engine and 3G alternator that is found on many Ford, Lincoln and , Mercury and Mazda vehicles. You know you have a 3G generator when you can see the entire voltage regulator from behind. The voltage regulator is the part that has the 3-wire connector. There are two versions of this alternator, a 95 amp version and a 130 amp version. The 130 amp version has 2 holes in each of the 3 "links" that run from the center hub to the outer edge of the alternator. Both controllers require the same parts for conversion and repair. This includes bearings, voltage regulator, brush assembly, etc. My alternator has stopped working. When I removed it from the motor and removed the voltage regulator I found that one of the brushes was completely worn out. It turns out to be normal wear and tear. I have also found that the most common fault with these alternators is the brushes. While I couldn't find anything definitive associating this particular make and model with the Ford 3G generator, I thought the $10.66 price tag was worth it. My game has paid off. This assembly is direct fit for Ford 3G alternator. If you are looking for replacement brushes for your Ford 3G alternator this will do and if you are a mainstream shopper you can't go wrong at $10.66 with free shipping. After I hooked up the alternator to the engine and tested it, everything worked fine. I had my generator fixed for less than $11. Of course, 90+ beats to replace the alternator.
