Installed this backup camera two weeks ago for a long drive from work. I've accumulated a lot of things that I've bought in a few months, and before that my truck bed was full. I bought a cargo bag to put on the back comforter and noticed that it covers all the back windows. Not to mention my frightened pet sat in the back seat and I put curtains on his side windows. Well, most people probably won't feel like they need something for a small car, but I wanted security to know my bag wasn't blown out of the trunk (we had terrible storms for several hours on the way back ). and to be able to see these people who like to sit in the back of a truck where I can't see them. Installation I've only put a four because it's not that difficult, I'm just not the most electrically skilled person. But it wasn't difficult. I took the RV camera and attached rare earth magnets I ordered from Revain to its underside so they stick very well to the top of the truck and routed the supplied cable right through the windows and routed it through the stake pocket and under the body rail on the backs of the truck so you don't really see it. Instead of plugging it straight into the taillights, I routed the wire through a pocket on the C-pillar under the truck and connected it to a flat four-pin adapter on my tow pack so it sticks out so I can plug right in. It's always on . Not the prettiest setup, but definitely the easiest setup and easy to uninstall. The signal was strong and very clear. I have to say I used small crimp connectors and that was a mistake as they didn't last long. I ended up having to solder the wires together but no big deal, used heat shrink tubing over them and then taped them around. good work. So I have to say, very good value for money and peace of mind to boot! Would buy again. Not to mention the seller is very responsive when I ask questions so I know the support is top notch and the company that makes the product replied to me promptly too. I highly recommend this product.
