This product is well made and made of high quality materials. The electric motor makes a solid impression. I don't use a fan for the air it blows, I use it for the noise it makes. This fan is not a silent fan. It sounds like a prop plane taking off at high speed and a prop plane flying at low speed. This isn't a criticism for me as I find the sound drowns out any sounds I need to fall asleep. If you are looking for a quiet fan, then this is not the fan for you. If you are looking for a quality fan that blows a lot of air and doesn't care about noise, then this fan is perfect for you.
