Review on 🌬️ Carrier Air Purifier for Home Allergies | Filters Pet Dander, Dust, Pollen & Smoke | Reduces Odor | 360 Degree Filtration | Air Quality Sensor by Sean Pere

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very light for its size, no WIFI function

My house is 1800 sqm. ft. This air purifier is rated for 426 sq ft. ft. I will not buy 4 air purifiers for my house - they are too big. I like that this cleaner is pretty light. I can carry him up and down stairs like a 5ft 8 woman with weird muscles. I switched the rooms he was in. I had asthma or something I could do it but I don't suffer and won't be happy to put this in our living room if my friend who is allergic to cats comes over and sees if it helps her at all it will probably be some time yet , although otherwise I would wait to rate it. As for the rating for this device, I looked at the AHAM scale for CADR listed to the side. Many air purifiers use CADR. system but it doesn't like the scale so I'm sharing it here. Tobacco smoke is CADR 10-450, dust is CADR 10-400 and pollen is CADR 25-450. So this machine is in the middle for dust and tobacco. smoke and an upper quarter for pollen. If you're getting an air purifier for a specific purpose, these numbers come in handy, so I'm glad they're fairly standardized for air purifiers. The user interface is nice and clean. the color around the display shows how clean the air is at the moment. Blue means it's cleanest, then green, yellow, then red I think. I only saw blue or green. It was interesting, I ran it in a room, opened the front door and the incoming wind changed it to green. I suspect it's because it's spring now and the pollen has come in from the outside air. The display can also be laid horizontally or tilted so you can see it from afar. Touching the LED button both the color ring and the fan speed indicator will dim, so you can run it in a dark room and not disturb your sleep, which is nice. You'll also notice that there's a Wi-Fi button on the UI. The manual says some models have it and some don't. It wasn't very useful, but after playing around with it a lot, it became clear that it didn't have Wi-Fi functionality. It's ok, I wasn't expecting it but thought it might be worth checking out since it has a button. This is probably normal for air purifiers, but there is a warning stating don't sit closer than 8 inches (or maybe 6, I'm not sure) of the car due to the radiation. So keep that in mind when considering placement and don't let your pets snuggle with it while it's on.
