Helps with allergies

I've been thinking about getting an air purifier as I've become more sensitive to pollen as I've gotten older. This air purifier has passed AHAM validation and has a recommended room size of 426 square feet. The fan has 18 speeds. Anything under 10 is pretty quiet. I just set it to auto. It can be loud (higher) at times, but it's not an annoying fan noise. It's a low-frequency hum, if that makes sense, not a high-frequency howl. For those who don't know, Carrier really did invent air conditioning! They've been making whole HVAC air purifiers for a while, but I think they're venturing into a smaller indoor model now. Very light for its size, no WIFI function

My house is 1800 sqm. ft. This air purifier is rated for 426 sq ft. ft. I will not buy 4 air purifiers for my house - they are too big. I like that this cleaner is pretty light. Great air purifier...with expensive replacement filter

I ordered this air purifier for our large room. We run it in "automatic" mode 24 hours a day and the air quality seems to be a bit better. We are very happy with this air purifier so far. Now 24 hours a day might seem like a lot, but in automatic mode the air purifier actively monitors air quality and adjusts fan speeds accordingly.
