Review on πŸŒ€ High-Performance Corsair ML120 Pro LED White Magnetic Levitation Cooling Fan (CO-9050041-WW) by Rick Turner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not even close to the case Fan

This bundle of two premium 140mm ML fans far exceeds my expectations. First, none of the fans have vibration-dampening rubber mounts! Yes, I saw the picture, but in my naivety I thought that NO company today would sell fans with this high airflow (20-97 CFM) and speed (1600 RPM) without them or as accessories. Okay, I thought maybe I don't need dampers on my Alphacool 280 radiator, wrong again. As I walk on, I hear a howl from fans so piercing that my ears hurt. Mind you, my CaseLabs Merlin (SM8) case is packed full of 140mm Noctua fans, minus the two front air intakes (before adding the heatsink). for my graphics card) Corsair ML 140 Pro Blues fans and it was always dead quiet. After installation, my case rattled and whined, which is very unacceptable. I have no idea if they're really doing their job sucking in air, and I don't care either. I took them out; Not the easiest and quickest of accomplishments, so replaced them with a pair of Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.Black.swap and life was good and easy again when I boxed these pups up for return. In short, they are NOT pros, they whine, and no, I would NOT recommend them for anything other than maybe a simple case fan.
