Review on πŸ›‘οΈ 3M 3614 15: Ultimate Protection for All Surfaces by John Pineda

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent adhesion in rain and low temperatures as well as 80Β° sunny days.

For the past few years my Cavalier's trim has been peeling off the car. The rear doors pulled open first, and when they were about halfway down I removed them by hand. When the front door trim began to peel off, I found this product. The molding had a bend of about 60Β°. Half was still attached to the car, but the other half was blowing in the wind. The sun helped shape the stucco, but not the straight ones. I was concerned about the adhesion of this product to straighten the molding. Once this molding tape was cut down to about what was hanging on the car, it was a little tricky to remove the old sealant and apply this tape. But after doing everything in my power, I firmly pressed the molding to the car door. I remembered 3-M talking about their self-adhesive coat hooks (press firmly for over 60 seconds) so I took that and did the same for the molding. I pressed it for three minutes and gently released the pressure. Well, three weeks later and both front door moldings are still there. Several showers and also frost. So far, so good. I will update when the molding starts to produce.
