The carabiner in the kit is not stainless steel but aluminum

eyes of the stainless steel liner; However, the carabiners are made of poor quality aluminum and do not meet the specified weight. The corrosion resistance of carabiners is questionable at best. Shown below is a stainless steel hook and above is the aluminum hook included with this order.
