Amana cutters are well designed and well balanced. They work well in small (1HP) routers due to the good polish. Even large ones like these quickly remove large amounts of material, have low friction and low buildup (thus generating less heat and noise). The ball bearing is strong enough and the locking ring is easy to operate. It is recommended to store them sprayed with WD40 oil or similar. These bits outperform my Bosch and Makita bits and the stock is the BEST plus as most of my work is done with templates. It's easier to follow the pattern at the top of the tree you're cutting than to use these load-bearing finials and reverse the pattern.
