Review on πŸŽ’ Kelty 45L Graphite Medium Backpack - Optimized Backpacks for a Perfect Fit by Sonya Ray

140 lbs) and comfortable with added ventilation, but terrible when it is.

Having used this pack on a few hikes I have to say it fits me perfectly (5ft 6in, 140lbs) and is comfortable with added ventilation but terrible when it is about enough space. The main compartment barely holds 45L items, and when the main compartment is full all other external pockets (including water bottle compartments) become useless. Also, the main frame is very thin and warped. one of my first hikes with a backpack on a load. In summary, this backpack is good/practical for short hikes - maybe 1-2 nights, but I don't recommend it if you plan to carry a lot of things or use one of the outside pockets. Kelty immediately discontinued this backpack which I think is a sign that this is not their best product. I'll get an osprey instead.
