I made a few ends with this crimping tool and each time it squeezed the retainer on the connector just enough that it wouldn't snap on the device connected. You need to bend it back - and try to do so without creating a stress fracture. I didn't have this problem with my old (also cheap) pliers. Oddly enough, although it crumples the tab a bit, it's still a bit painful to pull the connector out once it's crimped. - through connections. I forgot to check what I bought - the passes are MUCH easier to use!
