I bought the Rowenta cleaner because I have a Rowenta iron. There was something on my iron, although I'm not sure what, all over the plate. I tried to erase it but it didn't move. I bought the cleaner hoping it would work. I was very, very relieved when it happened! You use it on a hot iron. A few scrubbings with the supplied white cloth and detergent, not even a vigorous rub, and whatever was on the plate was removed. Very fast! My plate looks like new! I followed the directions and added water to muffle the holes in case they had cleaner in them and ironed the green cloth provided as well as the towel just in case. Smokes when applying the cleaner. But once it's done, it dissolves. It doesn't take much to make your iron like new! Now my sister wants me to do it!
