It was a lovely gift and my brother was delighted at our unexpected baby announcement. Quality made, without damage and manufacturing defects. The etched (or laser etched?) letters on the front were well done, looked great, and were easy to read. My very slight disappointment was that the metal used appeared to be very thin. It certainly wasn't thin enough for the metal to move or anything. I was just expecting a little heavier/sturdier feel. If you drop it, it would definitely scratch and probably dent as well. I would recommend the product for the amazing gift it made based on what it says, but if you're looking for something "upscale" or something that will impress people I'd look elsewhere.
