However, this element lacks some aspects of the design. 1) The case is made of black plastic - and summer is waiting. 2) Although this light is designed for a non-removable installation (brackets and suction cups, no quick release magnetic base), a short circuit will occur (the rear unit NEEDS an extension to turn on from the front seat). and twisted (?) power cord. Nobody needed a coiled cord for anything since old phones were a mess, and good luck hiding those coiled cords in your car. 3) The multi-flash pattern button is on the back of the device rather than on the back of the plug, making it a "set and forget" affair. You can't change patterns during the same use unless you want to shrink or remove the device to do so in that 5th dimension, the front bottom corner of your windshield - weird style. The price is nice. So maybe these design flaws aren't flaws at all, they just confirm the lower price.
