I think they are very expensive for what they are. Very thin - about 1/4 inch - I don't think that's deep enough to protect anything. Also, mine are unfinished - there is no protective seal. "Protective" foot pads are a joke. I didn't do what I usually do - at first I didn't read the reviews - I trusted the pictures. They are made from very poor quality bamboo. They are at least twice as expensive as they should be.
