Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good enough for the price

Edit: After someone I followed pointed this out to me, I noticed that they definitely have more of a green one Hue than real amber. The lens itself is amber, but the light from the LEDs is a bit bluish, so the light turns out greenish. I bought these headlights to use as DRLs and with some modifications they are good enough for me but definitely not bright enough to be foggy. Headlight Materials/Build Quality: (+) Body, end plates and brackets are metal (+) Finish appears to be good (-) One headlight was nowhere near sealed as the lens was too short leaving a 1/8 inch gap (see picture) between lens end and end plate seal. The other cap was better but still had poor sealing at the end plates. (-) The short lens lantern also has a whole extra padding loose in the body (white translucent round) blocking some of the light. Performance/Design: (-) It's a spot beam too big (likely less than 10Β° angle) but not very bright enough to be useful at long range. Fog lights should be headlights by 60Β° or more (+). very slim, which matched my grille perfectly (-). They're bright, but I doubt they're actually 3600 lumens. They appear to be as bright as my low beam to look at, but don't cover a very large area (the pics show the bulbs alone and the light with my low beam). To fix the padding issues I removed the side pads and used some butyl. Do-it-yourself ribbon that was actually big enough to fill the gap (see pics).

Pros
  • Accent and off-road lighting
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it, everything is fine
