This seat is soft and cool, so my kids are very comfortable in it. The materials are great, the sizing is perfect, the safety ratings are reassuring, and the price is amazing! However, this is a bare bones seat. It doesn't have any handy features like an easy-to-adjust, no-constriction seat belt or a bubble level to set the right angle. However, this reflects a VERY affordable price (around $85). The only issue I have with this seat is that it is very difficult to properly and securely install it in the rear-facing position, especially if you have deeply contoured seats. BENEFITS: - Large size and weight restrictions with rear-facing seating - Higher weight limit than almost any other seat in this price range, allowing your older child to stay in the harness longer. My 4 year old is almost 45lbs so this forward 65lb limit will allow him to stay on the leash for a few more years until he is ready for the harness positioning booster. Relatively compact size with straight sides making it easy to attach next to another seat. Comfortable, cool fabric. Doesn't absorb heat like a dark seat when you live in a hot place. - Plush seat! - Machine washable cover. - Cute style! I bought Aqua for both my son and daughter and they love it. - Easy front-facing installation. - Lightweight and easy to carry when traveling. CONS: - Difficult to achieve a tight, rear-facing fit - NOT suitable for 3" Jetta - A hassle to insert the straps and adjust the headrest - The button you have to press to release the straps is hidden under the cover and not marked so not easy to find and use. All in all this is a great basic seat for the money! I use them as travel and spare seats in our second car. This seat will not work for those who have to use it for different children since it has to be removed from the vehicle to adjust the height of the headrest and the belts, it would also not be ideal if you were to move it from one machine to another frequently since the installation is not so quick or easy is like models with more convenient features but it's safe and durable and gets the job done and you really can't beat it at this price point!
