Review on Timetec 64GB DDR4 3600MHz PC4-28800 CL18 Non-ECC Unbuffered Gaming Memory Module Upgrade by Eric Pruett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The first set wasn't good, the second set has some problems but I like it.

My first order had a bad RAM stick. My computer started freezing on the third day of installation. It could boot at base timings and hit the desktop, but would crash under heavy load. It also failed to boot with overclocking in any way. MemTest86 detected errors 10 seconds after starting the test. My replacement is a little strange. Each OC disables/interferes with my m.2 slot on my Aorus X470 Ultra Gaming motherboard. So I just bought a m.2 SATA and NVMe PCIE 2 in 1 adapter and I'm fine. I'm experiencing bandwidth loss on my NVMe, but I'm just playing games and browsing the internet on my PC. I had a stable OS and a setting of 16-19-19-19-39-58-468 @ 1.35V tCL-tRCDWR -tRCCDRD-tRP-tRAS-tRFC Everything else on Auto. Any setup on my Ryzen 3800x and Aorus X470 Ultra Gaming is not stable, even on different RAM sets like my Patriot Viper 4 16GB 3200MHz and Patriot Viper Steel Series 16GB 3600MHz.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Almost OK
