As long as you receive the product and brand as described, it works very well. I use it to control the hardware needed for laser show projectors, which allows me to use this smaller cable instead of the bulky ILDA cable. I use the 32" version and it works fine. Be careful. On a recent order I ordered more but received an unbranded copy, not Monoprice, and it didn't work. I returned it. As long as you get the real one Received version from Monoprice which comes in a hard plastic blister pack this is a good product, if you received another fake in a plain plastic ziplock bag send it back!
