I LOVE kantha quilts and already have 3 of these along with kantha floor pillows. They are light, colorful and exotic. This seller's blankets are cut much better than some in this price range. They are very good at building and I appreciate that! The ends are nicely finished with zig-zag stitching and the sides appear to be sewn in tight, so you can probably machine wash them with ease. However, I am a man and I buy these quilts because of their exotic appearance and here these quilts did not live up to my expectations. The first one I got was a FULL purple that was literally BLASTING and TONS of colors. The weight was a little heavier than some which was a plus. The second looked more exotic, but the material on one side was obviously worn and badly faded, like something old and worn from a thrift store. The third one I got was similar to the first, FULL pink, very feminine and not exotic at all. All three quilts were basically just two prints (one on each side) and I didn't like that at all. Kantha quilts should consist of many patches of brightly colored Indian-printed fabric. I was very disappointed that there was no longer a variety of fabrics and colors. I think this seller should divide these quilts into two different categories, one for exotic traditional kantha quilts, the other for floral/ladies. I feel like I wasted my time with them. My mom liked lilac so I gave it to her. I am sending 2 others back and going back to my old provider now that they are restocking. All of the comforters I have purchased from this seller have been made from at least 3-4 different fabrics and none of them have been overloaded with colors or any particular color. But they are not stitched as well as those offered by this seller.
