Just before we left for July vacation, it occurred to me that we (Arizona) were getting ready for a pretty active monsoon season. Apparently the Lowes and Home Depot stores are located elsewhere, and they have no idea it's raining in Arizona. Heavy rain. And our pools are too close to our home. I literally got in my car in the Home Depot parking lot and bought a 17" x 6" Quick Dam barrier from Revain. BOOM. Ready. Delivered the next day! How I love Revain "We laid this border – flat – along our patio between the pool and the house. And sure enough, when we got back there was a BIG storm in our absence and this barrier swelled from ingested water and then - under its own weight - acted as a barrier and redirected the flow of water further into the yard. This is brilliant... I've been telling everyone I know about it... No need for sandbags!
