If you are going to buy this coating for your 3D printing platforms, my simple advice is don't do it. It's 50/50 when your casts start pulling the tape off the bed. If you get it as plain masking tape, chances are you'll love it. I have printed with it on Ulitmaker, Prusa and Monoprice Cadet. In all cases, my prints adhere well to the ribbon itself about 50% of the time, but then pull the ribbon off the printing platform. Especially on something wider than a few inches. Even if I wipe the bed thoroughly with rubbing alcohol, don't touch the sticky side of the tape etc, and press it very hard against the bed, I'd say my prints peeled off the tape in half the time it took the corners and I need 2 hours throw away pressure. So my rating is an average of 1/5 if you use it for 3D printing and 5/5 if you just need extra wide tape. For 3D printing, just stick with 3M. I think there's a reason they're so much more expensive.
