This nozzle allows you to isolate the heat on one side while protecting the glass on the other side. In my case I used it to melt the glue from broken Ipad glass without burning/melting the screen. The kit fits my HT1000 very well, each nozzle has slots to change their size so I think it will fit most heat guns. The attached image is from the actual kit and shows each attachment included.
