Review on 🎧 Koss CS95-USB Communications USB Headset: High-quality Audio & Microphone, White by Jessica Gibson

I bought two of these units mainly because of the price. I use one to dictate this review and found it very responsive and decent quality, especially considering the price. I've been through 45 sets of these headsets over the past three or four years, mostly due to cable pinches or cuts. It may make more sense for me to use a bluetooth headset. However, I don't like the reliability of battery powered devices when I can plug them in. So you clamp the cable with one hand, with the other hand the batteries are empty. These headsets do not require batteries. Sure, and their cable seems to be as good as most. There is no independent volume control for the speaker, so you must adjust the volume using the speaker icon at the bottom left of the window screen. It annoyed me. However, me and my other headsets, my shirt would still constantly change the volume on the knob. With no volume control on the cable, I can adjust it with the speaker icon and then it doesn't change. I use it every day with Dragon NaturallySpeaking and had to go through a mic calibration as its output level is quite different from previous headsets I've used. It only took a minute or two and the headset works perfectly. The sound quality of the speaker is quite good. Again, money can buy a better headset, but nothing protects the record from being stolen except wirelessly, and I just don't want to do that. especially since their prices are modest. Much luck.
