I have another bladeless technology fan but it is not very powerful and does not have the cooling capacity that I heard about this product so decided to give it a try. It has 3 speeds and 3 modes. It can fluctuate by 60 degrees when idle. The indoor fan vibrates...not the floor. It is also equipped with a timer function and a remote control. This product comes with two ice packs that can be filled with water and frozen to cool the air. Of course you can also use it without an ice pack, but the manufacturer offers a much cooler breeze with ice packs. The wind is like a light breeze and very refreshing. Although this fan is relatively light. This is a decent fan. More than I expected. The oscillating feature is great as it can disperse air faster over a larger area or focus when needed. Just point right at you. As for the sound, it's a lot quieter than I expected. It's on par with my other bladeless ones. Comes into being... db. Which is quiet for a fan. When tested, this product just didn't deliver the expected results. I tried chilling the water with the ice packs provided and then tried the large ice packs. But none of these changed the temperature of the air leaving the fan. the results are completely disappointing. In addition, these readings were taken directly at the outlet of the fan, so that the air did not have time to warm up from the outside temperature. I tried three different ice pack configurations. I tried it once from above and once from below. Two are up. Then one of my ice packs is on top and the two that came with this product are on the bottom. I ran three separate tests and each test gave roughly the same results. With a maximum drop in air temperature of 2 degrees Fahrenheit. My ice pack was on top and hers was on bottom. I could not find any guarantees in the product information or in the product description. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all I really wanted to like it and honestly I NEED it to work. My garage could use something like this. But from all my testing... it's just an overpriced fan at the end of the day. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this cooler. It just did nothing in my testing other than blow air for me. It may be defective. I don't know... but for the price.
