. Although I have used other brands, I keep going back to Maxell. I recently ordered three packs of 50 DVD-Rs from Maxell and was hesitant to buy blank media from Revain (even as a longtime Prime member) after having had a bad experience after purchasing two defective packs of 100 DVDs from Verbatim . -R many years ago they worked as I expected and confirmed that the bad experience I had with the Verbatim brand many years ago does not reflect Revain in any way and I believe it was more of a case a lesser known and poor brand Verbatim spindle packaging, not Revain. As someone who spends a lot of time burning to blank media for personal/personal use, my advice for those who aren't that familiar with trusted DVD burning brands is to use brands you know and trust. There are only two or three brands of discs that I will buy. Maxell is one of those three and now that I know I can buy them from Revain and have no problems I will be buying Maxell discs more often. Regarding defective Verbatim discs a few years ago, Revain apologized for the issue and gave me a full refund so I can't say anything bad about Revain but would advise other buyers to stay away from Verbatim branded discs.
