. They hold it up well and I was able to get the screws a lot tighter than any plain old wood screw. They work much better than T-nuts because the handles are on the shaft, not the flange, and you can drill out the flange a little or they will get in the way of mounting the speaker. If you do this with T-nuts, you'll lose traction. Trust me, when this speaker fell out due to a t-nut failure, I wasn't happy about camping. All you have to do is drill holes and screw them under the screw head with some washers to avoid pitting on the baffle. This makes them sit really well and they can be used over and over again without losing their holding power. This is a bonus for those of you who like to change drivers frequently. Highly recommended, especially as an alternative to sliding blocks.
