I bought this as a temporary fix until I can shell out a nicer stainless steel brush holder. This product definitely fits. The quality is a durable plastic that will easily carry my silver engraving on a badger hair shaving brush, a heavy brush. The $10 price tag seems a bit high for what you get, but the art of shaving is by no means cheap. Apart from what has already been mentioned, there isn't much to say. It's a brush stand and it does what it's supposed to do, it's plastic and hardly breaks, paint chipping is impossible and very easy to wash off. No matter what you want this item for, you can't go wrong with it.
