I really like that it can be hidden in the cup holder when not in use. And the lid has adjustable holes for more durability. I personally also came up with the idea of using a spray and soaking the inside of the pads a bit to increase durability and strength. (Hey little trees, there's a product recommendation/suggestion to put on your labels!) I thought I read somewhere that each one lasts up to two months on their own, but if I open the holes about halfway, they last they only about a month and then some. In any case, I prefer jars to iconic trees and vent clamps. The spray is good but I think it only lasts a couple of hours to a couple of hours. (By the way, the vent clips do have some room for improvement. Because when it gets really hot, when your car is in the sun, or it's winter outside and you're using a heater, it's very difficult or almost impossible to remove the clip from one of your vent blades without feeling like you're breaking the wing in the process.) None of my nearby auto parts stores stocked these, and they usually have a great selection, so I'm glad I found a box of these for a much better deal .
