Review on BUD Industries PC 11481 Plastic Length by Will Schimmel

This discreet-looking case is available in 4 slightly different versions. I like this dark/light gray regular ABS version best because the plastic has a UL94V-0 fire rating (the high-impact ABS version with a LG or LGA suffix isn't). The all-plastic construction makes it easier to mount double-insulated Class II equipment than the version with aluminum panels. The inner base has 16 plastic screw tabs that fit standard M2.5 or #4 screws. sheet metal screws. I went with #4 screws because they should be larger in diameter and compress tighter. I used all the tabs for a large PCB to create a very solid construction. The box came with four small self-adhesive rubber feet. My only complaint was that the package was not properly wrapped during transit, resulting in a small dent on the sharp edge.
