I like it. They definitely made me use less paper towels and that was the point. They can be reused up to a point - it all depends on what you've done with them and how comfortable you are with them. I use them for wiping countertops, washing surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom. For vacuuming up water or oil. If I use them on something rough or with a strong smell they might end up going in the trash. If they have just a little cleaning solution or water on them, I rinse them, wring them out and let them dry. They can be used again within a few days. I haven't tried putting them in the washing machine - they don't seem that strong and I'm fine with not trying to make them last forever. It's okay to rinse your hands well. I would say they are more on par with a paper towel than a real hand towel or washcloth in terms of weight and absorbency, but definitely help reduce waste.
