Fast and Reliable USB 3.1 HDD/SSD Docking Station

I have used Sabrent's USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 hard drive docking solutions in the past. When I needed to upgrade to the latest USB 3.1 standard, I turned to Sabrent for a hard drive docking solution because of the brand's excellent reliability and build quality. My USB 2.0 device which is over 10 years old still works great today, just like when I bought it, even after using over 80 drives in the device. The interface is fast, the build quality is what I've come to expect from Sabrent products, it's solid, reliable and certainly not irritating to the eyes or anything useless and flashy. It just works, every time. I've accidentally dropped previous units on the floor or thrown them on a table when an old hard drive weighs more than a new one, and I've never had any damage to the docking solution or drives. Sabrent secures hard drives with electrical protection on both the power supply side and the USB powered side. I've noticed an increase in read/write speeds compared to a USB 3.0 device, but you'll only notice this if you're using an SSD. Whether you're looking for a new or updated hard drive docking solution with either hot-swap drives or technical support, or you're just looking for an external hot-swap drive that won't be used for an extended period of time (e.g. for a game console), this feature-packed - A working device will suit you. So if you need a new hard drive dock, get this USB 3.1 version, especially if you are using an SSD dock. If you're the current USB 3.0 dock owner and only use mechanical hard drives, you won't see any read/write speed improvements since the drives themselves aren't that fast. If you have a USB 2.0 dock, buy a USB 3.1 dock, you will be amazed at the increased sustained random/average read and write speeds.
