So - it's listed for "long hair", long barrel etc. as you can see on my actual long barrel tongs/curlers, this is regular length only. I have long hair and need longer locks to curl my hair evenly. It does not have a clip/stand. Sounds good for preventing hair from getting tangled, but it's best to have enough heat-resistant pads in ALL and other styling tools and products. It doesn't stay in place when you put it down, turn it over, etc. Very annoying. There should at least be a piece attached to it so it doesn't touch the surface when you lower it.
