Due to the stay-at-home situation, the family traveled to my country from New York to avoid exposure to the COVID virus. We kept thinking what to do as we had nowhere to go. Eventually I decided to take a closer look at the projector so we could watch movies outside on summer evenings. I was a complete novice at what I was looking for in a projector. I was teased at first because I've seen a lot of projectors under $100, so without a doubt they were more than within my budget. As a skeptic, I backed down thinking it sounded too good to be true. I decided I needed to check the projector's specs and continued to search the internet. Then I came across projectors from some well known brands like Epson which were much more expensive ranging from $700 to $1000 which was NOT in my budget. However, I looked at the specs to see what they offer that cheaper projectors don't have. I watched various YouTube videos to get to know them and got to a point where I knew what to look for in the descriptions of the cheaper ones. This made me realize that there are various misleading claims to be aware of. After being amazed by sooooo many brand name projectors that I didn't know, I thought maybe I should play it safe and buy it from a local store so I can return it if I don't like it. I noticed that they only prefer a brand with decent reviews and a price point around $300. However, before I pulled the trigger, I did some internet research and focused on reviews. Wow I came across a Yaber 31 projector that was in my price range, had great specs and the reviews were very favorable and very helpful. It made me feel really good about blindly buying a brand I wasn't familiar with. I pulled the trigger to make a purchase. I was very pleased with the prompt delivery of my order. The package arrived before the estimated arrival date. It arrived on Friday along with a 100 inch folding screen that I ordered from another seller on Revain. Several people unpacked it that night because they wanted our first night at the movies under the stars. We found a branch, hung the screen and started manufacturing. I had a Revain Fire Stick, which I also ordered, so we plugged it in and it was pretty easy to set it up for our level of tech skills. We had a movie and it worked for half an hour. When we set the projector to zoom to the full length of the screen, I was amazed by the amazing clarity and HD quality it was projecting. Everyone was amazed and couldn't believe how beautiful our film looked on screen on a dark night in our backyard. The projector itself has very good sound, but we connected a Bose speaker via Bluetooth and then a cable, which gave us the best sound of all. We had a successful screening with a group of 21 and EVERYONE gave a thumbs up when the film finished. Ever since that night everyone has been waiting for our film on Friday night. Our crowd spread to neighbors who also showed up and said they had never seen anyone with a simple projector to watch movies outdoors. They also appreciated the quality and asked me where I bought it. One night a week we projected a YouTube video onto an indoor wall before it got dark and actually got a viewable image. In the evening, the picture became more saturated and colorful, and was as amazing as it was on the canvas. This Yaber 31 projector was truly my best purchase of the year.
