What I like best about this light and the reason I bought it is that it has a 24 hour setting where you simply show the time (in the 24-hour format). ) and then let it do its thing. You no longer have to wake up in the morning and turn on the light in the aquarium - it's already on! Forget having to turn it off every night. He does too! My only issue with this light is that when turned off at night it doesn't stay off for a full night cycle. This has caused more algae to grow in the tank because it doesn't stay as long as I would like.
