As per other reviews the material is actually polyester which is disappointing as it can be uncomfortable. The comforter/quilt is not the best quality so be aware they will not last long hence the price. However, it is quite light, the pillowcases are quite soft and affordable for people on a budget or students. If you decide to process and purchase this set anyway, I don't mind. Here are some tips for you: Wash your duvet on a delicate cycle and don't spin dry as this can ruin the duvet's structure. Air drying or gentle drying is recommended. I would recommend getting one of those $8 cotton sheets from Target (the price depends on the size you get) to replace with this sheet. It's polyester so they don't fit well. My cat Matt has approved a new bedding set so far so I'll keep everyone posted in case he changes his mind ;)
