They are really strong. The footrest is not very comfortable, but the pillow is comfortable. Overweight people may find the seat too narrow and not very comfortable so I had to deduct a star as this category suits some of our family members and visitors. You are looking very beautiful. Make sure you measure your counter, this is especially important for tall counters and not medium tables. We bought them to replace ones that were no longer holding their screws and had a "saddle" shape. I'm glad we bought them (we bought two packs for a total of 4 chairs).
