They fit my standard building quality front door width perfectly. If they don't fit, they will indeed bend slightly, but not so easily that you have to worry about them bending during use. They actually ship them with an intentional twist to fit inside each other, which annoyed me a little but didn't seem to cause any problems with the product. It folded back to its original shape easily, and there were no chips or peeling paint on the beds. I have a wreath on the door now, it's a metal frame with burlap. It's not very heavy, but it's not a decent weight and I haven't had any issues in the 2 months it's been hanging for fall. Now I'm planning to switch to a Christmas wreath. I like the choice of 2 colors. I have a black front door and the black one works great. They appear to be the normal length for a wreath hanger. I have no complaints about the properties of the products and would happily get them again, although I think I won't be needing new ones for a while.
