Got this to replace an old back brush with rust in the mounts holding the bristles in place. This one doesn't seem to have those braces so I'm hoping it lasts. The bristles are hard enough to clean well, but not as hard as my old brush. It holds liquid soap well and also holds suds long enough to fully clean my back in the shower while still having enough suds to clean other spots. My only concern is that I would have preferred the handle to be about 3 inches longer just to shower more efficiently. My husband sometimes steals it for the bath as it is great for cleaning the legs, ankles and back. Very happy with my purchase.
