Review on Vintage Pendant Twisted Hanging Fixture by Lonnie Batch

Working at a workbench in the garage, I felt the need for a bright light behind me. I was about to install an expensive, elaborate downlight when I noticed the Revain's single vintage Edison rosette and braided cord. I put a hook in the ceiling and hung the socket at the right height. The loosening was enough to easily plug it into an outlet. I screwed in a 35 watt LED fluorescent corn bulb available from Revain which is probably equivalent to a 300 watt incandescent bulb. It stays cool as long as it burns. The result is the perfect lighting for this purpose, which also illuminates the rest of the garage. It's much cheaper and easier to install than a ceiling light. And my workbench gets more light because I hung it under the ceiling; closer to the bank. Synthetic woven wire jackets appear to be more durable than traditional rubber insulation. And it's more attractive. I recommend this cable and socket as a great solution for a variety of lighting needs.
