Review on StarTech Com 0 5M White Thunderbolt Cable by Matthew Maxwell

I bought the white version of this cable 2 years ago and it was an amazing cable. A few months ago in September I had to fly to another state for work. When I unpacked my things I found that this was not with me. Can you believe it? Anyway, I bought the black cable shortly after (I thought it was good to have at least two in case that happens again). The first thing I noticed was that my MacBook didn't always read the surface correctly (Clarett 2Pre). I figured I just need to reinstall the driver or something. I did this and the problem seemed to go away for a while. However, it has become increasingly common. Unfortunately, today marks the day the cable completely failed. The computer no longer recognizes that the interface is connected to it. As if there were no cable. It was really an embarrassing moment. I love StarTech, I have another product from them. An adapter that often comes in a hitch. I never thought the problem was in the cable. In fact, I blamed the MacBook and Clarett even before I thought the cable was the problem! I mean it's a two month old cable; how could that be a problem? Needless to say I am disappointed. But I understand these things happen. StarTech still deserves my trust, but unfortunately I received a faulty cable. Now I have to find a new one as soon as possible.
