Aside from a few ID serial numbers on the brushes which indicated the previous ones I bought from the dealer were made for VW, they looked, felt and installed exactly like the ones my VW dealer bought sold. Installation was very easy. • Raise the blade lever. • Turn the old blade counterclockwise until it is perpendicular to the windshield. When the blade comes off the hinge, you should hear a faint click that you can feel with your hand. • Slide the old blade vertically along the shaft until it is completely removed from the blade arm. • Slide the new knife onto the knife arm shaft through the hole in the middle of the knife. • When fully installed, rotate the blade clockwise until it is parallel to the windshield. • Return the knife lever to its original position with the newly installed knife. • Repeat steps for the second wiper blade.
