These replaced the originals on my F250. Easy enough to do. I've seen someone write not to pinch the retaining wire on the shocks as it is a job to push them in to attach the bolt at the bottom. All shocks easily compress ONCE, a little more so twice thrice luck is doable but not very easy to compress. So cut the wire, put on the alligator, fasten it on top and then press on the bottom screw.
