Wanted to keep using a favorite lightweight down alternative coverlet that was still good,, but looking daggy from many machine wash & dry cycles over the years. Wanted breathable natural fabric instead of synthetic. Bought this inexpensive (less than $30) VEEYOO 100% cotton prewashed duvet cover set in purple to get me by until I could finish a handmade quilt I'm making for my bed. Now I'm in no hurry to make the quilt! For this price I expected a thin cotton cover that might fade & fall apart after a couple of washings but I was wrong! This duvet set far exceeded my expectations. Rich purple color, nice dense slightly slubby but soft texture, perfect weight, and it washed & dried beautifully. If you wanted a more crisp texture you could iron it but I love it as is. Easy to put my coverlet in the duvet cover if you follow the instructions. Not using the King shams yet because I like smaller pillows & haven't cut the shams down yet. Just finished a crochet lap throw that looks great with it too. Looks like I spent way more $$ than I did. So happy I bought this!
