A good option in my case as the previous light fixture was mistakenly installed over the new trim I installed on the house many years ago by the person who installed the trim. He was able to hide his mistake by cutting the siding in a hard-to-reach place. The new mounting kit is its poor workmanship so I had no idea it was screwed up until I replaced the light. Installed correctly now.
