wow what a difference what a good reliable connection. I replaced some MC4 boards with MC3 connections and it wasn't a really good connection that I thought would hold up with a normal set of crimping tools. So I figured out $15 or burned more connections for $1 each. Needless to say, I'm glad I waited. Remember to squeeze the joint slightly to fit the jaws (tool for small or connector for long idk) and make sure you put the bottom u in the small part and the top u in the wide curved part. and the walla is a nice crimp. I tore a few apart to understand that part, but oh well. But overall it works a lot better than I thought it would and seems to be holding up
