Great lens for camera and photography

I use this lens on my Panasonic Lumix G9 and so far I am very satisfied. The lens is very sharp, it works great with all of the G9's autofocus modes (including face/eye detection and animal detection), although it's perhaps a bit slower than some of my other Panasonic Leica lenses, and the build quality is excellent. I remember Sigma lenses from the old days, and this lens doesn't compare to their budget offerings of yesteryear. In fact, it's better than many camera manufacturers' lenses. I was a bit concerned that the somewhat odd field of view of a 112mm lens might be problematic at full frame, but after decades of using the Nikkor 105mm lens, it was no different. If anything, the slightly longer focal length helps overcome the Micro 4/3's weakness; namely to create a more pronounced blur of the background to increase the separation of objects. In summary, this lens should definitely be on your list if you're shopping for a portrait lens or general-purpose telephoto lens.
