LED strips, LED lights or even the Nilight brand are nothing new to me. This is by no means a hit on Nilight, they are a super bargain. You can have a brighter and more durable system, but for exponentially more money. However, here are my complaints.1. I'm used to bars, not capsules. I will be back in bars. The capsules have the same design as the panel and emit the same proportional amount of light as the panel, but less because they are smaller. I mean if you string together maybe 5 of these pods it would be the equivalent of a 20 inch light bar in size and light output. So why not just buy a bar? I thought I would get a more distant, more focused beam, but I don't.2. I purchased the Nilight front tag attachment system with a modest but still reasonably functional bull bar style tag/light holder (which I really like, by the way). The problem is that with this set I can't get the light to angle high enough to throw the light farther. They're bright enough right in front of my car, but I put them on the strut a long time before I had them at the right angle. Is the bar better? I think so. Because even if the angle was the same, the number of LEDs and the light output would be much larger and wider, it wouldn't matter much. Don't get me wrong, it looks cool, it gives off light and I will use it. The mount is sturdy and again for the price they steal. Conclusion: Not bad for the price. But for a little more money you're buying a light output bar that comes from the same compact space.
