I ordered this kit for my 2004 Hyundai Tiburon coupe which did not have a tire pressure monitoring system from the factory. My other cars have TPMS and it's so handy I wanted to replicate it in my old but trusted car. Installation was simple and easy and the manual correctly guided me through the steps despite the somewhat confusing wording. The system offers multiple warnings for low pressure, high pressure and high temperature. I'm using the Fahrenheit setting, but a Celsius option is also available. What sets this kit apart from cheaper alternatives is the ability to charge via a solar panel in addition to wired charging. I prefer the solar option as it reduces clutter and quickly recharges the battery under the Southern California sun. The tire pressure readings were accurate and matched my trusty pressure gauge perfectly. Compared to TPMS in my other car. , Tire pressure readings are not displayed as quickly when you turn the system back on after turning it off. While my other car starts reporting tire pressure after about a minute, this kit took about 5 minutes for the sensors to start reporting data to the display. To avoid such delays, I just leave the kit on all the time (also thanks to solar charging).
