Works fast. Batteries get hot!
The included batteries arrived pretty low on charge. I loaded up the eight AA batteries that came with this charger. Sometimes, the fit was tricky to get the machine to accept the battery. It didn't always register that there was a battery present. They did all line up and start charging after a bit of fussing. Once each battery reached its full charge, it was hot. This is scary for lithium. I recommend that you do not leave this device plugged in and unattended. Store your batteries in their cases, too. Here's hoping this thing will not be a problem.
